Winter is coming bringing with it lot of celebrations ,festive season, more holidays, shopping season means lot of sale discounts. It is a great time to hit the mall and enjoy the beauty of the season.
I am living in Singapore and it doesn’t have the four seasons of winter, summer, spring and fall. The weather is warm and tropical year round. Rain is experienced almost every month and these light showers are usually quite refreshing as they provide respite from the sun. The place is beautiful because of the amazing greenery existing and the cool breeze in the evening.
So winter is a huge treat for us and my favourite time of the year ! Beautiful fur jackets , scarves and boots are my personal favourites to stock up on. We prefer going to India in winters , the best part of going in winters is not only you but everyone is in celebration mode and get lot of time to spent with family and friends enjoying inside activities bonn fire, watching back to back movies and get yourself a bowl of homemade soup, eating peanuts while watching, playing tambola , music , dance ( lot of festivals and marriages fall in winter season). Winter food is the best kind of food and my favourite is Gajar ka halwa made by my mom and Suji halwa made by my mom in law . Yummy …..my mouth is watering thinking about it , can’t wait any more. Wherever you go there is beautiful decoration, Diwali and Christmas lights up the street and the houses. The country becomes illuminated with colourful lights , cheering up the dark winter nights.
A perfect excuse of not getting up early in the morning and curling up in a blanket . Every parents say “ Early to bed , early to rise makes a man healthy ,wealthy and wise”. Winters are the perfect time when I really want to listen to them by at least following early to bed after eating double the food. Personally I love winters there is nothing better than a warm cozy bed and sipping on a hot tea on a cold winter day. Guys make sure to add ginger cinnamon to your tea. Really its wonderful and absolute drink for tea lovers. Friends try Kashmiri tea, you are going to love it.Cheers to winter season!!!!!
For many people winter season brings along a dry itchy skin , rough hands and cracked feet. So what a big deal “ Banish dry skin obviously” and enjoy beautiful romantic winter season with your loved ones . Be winter ready and welcome the season with open arms and beautiful glowing skin by just taking some time off and pamper yourself.

Looking at the bright side of everything so friends here are the basic and simple tips to follow during winter season –

It is recommended to keep the shower time short and not use too hot water . Apply coconut oil all over your face and body while you are in the shower and then rinse off . It can heal your dry skin and keep moisture in . The other option is after shower apply body lotion all over your body.
- Moisturize more frequently. At night use richer moisturiser on your face
- Go for hydrating facial that can penetrate deep into your skin and make your dry skin look vibrant
- Do not use toners or astringents it can further dry your skin
